The Nonprofit Research Collaborative report for all of 2013 is Here. Giving rose at 62% of responding organizations for 2013, the best results since 2007. The analysis looks at fundraising methods used, which increased and which did not in 2013. Receipts from major gifts, special events, online giving, and emailed appeals all rose at 62% of responding charities. The methods least likely to see increases were gifts from congregations, which rose at only 25% of charities that use that fundraising approach, and allocations from federated campaigns increased at only 21% of charities in those processes.
